When most 18-year-olds are still figuring out what to do next, Siddhesh made a bold move—he stepped forward to build. Not wait, not watch—but to learn by doing. He applied for internships through Internshala, driven by his deep interest in Mechatronics. Most companies didn’t even respond. He was just a first-year student. But he didn’t stop. He kept going, driven by that inner fire to start somewhere.
And that’s when we noticed him.
What stood out wasn’t years of experience—Siddhesh brought something even more powerful: curiosity, initiative, and an open mind. After a quick conversation, it was clear—this young learner had the attitude of a builder. That was all we needed.
Learning by Doing: His First Stint
Siddhesh joined us as a Research Intern for Hardware Technologies. His journey began with redesigning handouts and content for 3D printing. From there, he immersed himself—writing curriculum, crafting learning experiences, experimenting with real tech, and co-building modules on Drones and Design Thinking.
He didn’t just assist. He led.
He didn’t just absorb knowledge. He created it.
He took charge of the entire Drone module—from Pluto drones to DIY takeoffs. He rebuilt our 3D Design & Printing curriculum and made it better—faster, simpler, sharper. And every improvement he made was rooted in something real: empathy for students and a genuine love for technology.
The Next Chapter: Intern to Innovator
After a brief break to explore other domains, Siddhesh returned with even more clarity. This time, he stepped into a new role—Founder’s Intern—working directly with our founder and team on strategy, operations, and growth.
He contributed across the board:
- Designed investor decks and business plans
- Took on sales—from cold calling to exhibition stalls
- Led workshops like Financial Literacy and Health & Fitness
- Built CRM workflows to make lead management smoother
- Introduced creative classroom tools like Student Passports and Success Cards
- Wrote articles and helped redesign our company blog and newsletter
- All of this, while staying true to the spirit of learning by building.
Beyond Work: A Curious Mind at Play
Siddhesh’s curiosity doesn’t end with tech.
- He captures nature trails on camera and turns them into cinematic videos.
- He plays the ukulele and flute (he claims it’s “mostly vibes”)
- He’s got the hustle of a footballer and the calm of a thinker.
- He’s someone who listens deeply, debates with insight, and always finds something to smile about—usually over a bowl of mango custard.
- Every hobby he picks up mirrors his mindset: thoughtful, hands-on, and driven by joy.
Why Siddhesh’s Journey Matters
Siddhesh’s story is not just about one intern—it’s about what happens when young people are trusted with real work, real challenges, and real ownership. When given the chance, they rise. They stretch. They surprise you. They add value—not in the future, but right now.
And as a team, we grow too. We learn how to guide without controlling, how to listen more, and how to nurture raw potential.
We’re proud to have been part of Siddhesh’s journey, and we know this is just the beginning. Wherever he goes next, he’ll carry this mindset forward—learn by building, grow by doing.
So why intern early?
Because it changes everything.
It gives clarity about careers, builds confidence, teaches real-world teamwork, and shows you what you love (and don’t).
Siddhesh discovered that he loves teaching kids, he enjoys working across departments, and he now knows how to manage time, energy, and ideas.
That kind of learning? You can’t get from a textbook.
You get it by doing. By being in the arena. And that’s exactly what he did.
We’ll miss having Siddhesh around, but we’re more excited than ever to see what he builds next.
