The last 14 months with 10xTechClub's PAP program have truly changed the way I see technology and innovation. When I first joined, I was excited but nervous at the same time not sure of what to expect from the class. Now, as I think of my journey, I realize that I have gained so much more than just technical knowledge. I have also learned how to communicate better, understand finances through the finance workshop, and speak confidently in front of large crowds.
Hardware Hackathon: My First Real Challenge
One of my favorite experiences was the Hardware Hackathon, it was my first hackathon. Assembling the hardware while programming was not easy but it was definitely exciting. It sparked my curiosity for 3D printing and hardware assembly. I had built a Mars Rover equipped with sensors that helped it navigate easily. The hackathon was less about the competition and more about bringing ideas to life.
Software Hackathon: Strengthening My Logic
The Software Hackathon strengthened my logic, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. Using Python, I saw how software complements hardware to build complete systems. This integration deepened my appreciation for coding's role in innovation.
AI Summit: Glimpsing the Future
Another significant event was the AI Summit, which gave me a look at the future of technology. Listening to experts and seeing demonstrations helped me realize that Artificial Intelligence is not just a theory. It is a tool already shaping industries like healthcare, transportation, and communication. The summit encouraged me to think about how AI could solve real-world problems and motivated me to explore emerging technologies with curiosity.
Shark Tank: The Ultimate Test
The Shark Tank event was the most challenging and rewarding part of the program. Presenting in front of mentors, peers, and industry experts (sharks) was difficult and challenging. But it taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly, show their value, and answer questions confidently. Beyond technical skills, this event improved my public speaking, allowing me to deliver speeches with confidence and express my ideas clearly.
Discovering My Passions
Throughout the program, I found the areas I enjoy most: 3D printing, hardware assembly, and Python programming. These fields mix creativity and logic, allowing me to design, build, and program solutions in challenging and satisfying ways. Working in these areas gave me a sense of purpose and direction for my future learning.
Beyond Technology: The Complete Learning Experience
Looking back, my journey with 10xTechClub wasn't just about hackathons, summits, or competitions. It was about developing the right mindset, staying curious, persevering through failures, and experimenting until I find solutions. I learned technical concepts, but more importantly, I gained soft skills like collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication.
The mentors along with Mr. Rajesh Shah have been a huge help in my journey supporting me at every stage.
Innovation Starts with Students
For me, the PAP program was a great learning experience. It showed me that innovation isn't just done by professionals but by anyone. It can begin with students ready to learn and explore. I am truly grateful to my mentors, peers, and the 10xTechClub for their guidance and support during this journey.
This program has helped me understand technology better and being a part of it was a great decision. The journey has transformed not just my technical skills, but my entire approach to learning, problem-solving, and innovation.
