| Beyond Pocket Money: How We’re Equipping Kids with Real Financial Power When was the last time your child learned something in school that could actually change their financial future? It probably wasn’t yesterday’s algebra class. At our first full-day Financial Literacy Workshop, students dove into the real world of money—from handling currency and managing monthly budgets to simulating investments and analyzing real companies. One guest expert even revealed how some companies say they sell watches… but really make their money elsewhere. Curious? The Future is Now: AI Summit by PAP Cohort 2 The energy at the AI Innovation Summit was electric as PAP Cohort 2 wrapped up Stage 3 with a bang. Students kicked off with AI Chronicles, where they turned complex topics like AI in deepfakes, VFX/CGI, SpaceTech, whale communication, medicine, for visually impaired, in finance, as a co-pilot in flights, in sports and smart irrigation into powerful speeches and blog stories. Then came Data Alchemy, where students used real-world datasets and built compelling dashboards on Power BI—analyzing trends in sports, population, entertainment, business, finance, and environment with clarity and depth. The highlight? The AI Innovators’ Expo, where five student teams presented their original AI solutions: from Brain Tumor prediction to LLM for home schoolers, a personal voice chatbot to face clustering and stock prediction. Each project blended coding, real-world impact, and design thinking—proving how far they’ve come in understanding and applying AI. Our expert guest, Mr. Prasad Valavade, an industry veteran in Data and AI, brought immense value with hands-on feedback, insights on career opportunities, and deep discussions on code, models, and dashboards. “These kids are amazing—they're solving problems using AI and Data Science. They are learning the right way of using technology to be useful in solving problems facing the industry.” he said. His encouragement, detailed inputs, and vision for the future made this summit a powerful reminder: when young minds are empowered, they create magic. |

From Tech Newbie to Dependable Engineer: Payal's Journey of Growth at 10xTechClub When Payal Chandile joined 10xTechClub as an intern, she came in with curiosity in her eyes and a quiet fire to learn. Today, she stands tall as an excellent engineer, a mentor, and someone who’s growing into a future-ready tech leader — one project at a time. But what makes her journey so inspiring isn’t just what she’s built. It’s how she’s built it — with resilience, humility, and an open mind. The Beginning: Curiosity in Overdrive Payal didn’t come with all the answers. She came with better — questions. Lots of them. From Artificial Intelligence to Cloud Computing and Space Tech, she dove headfirst into learning. Her willingness to explore new domains — even when she didn’t have it all figured out — is what set her apart early on. Her projects spoke for her: - AI-powered tools to make learning smoother.
- An auto-grading system that helped both students and teachers save time.
- A brilliant AI project that uses RAG to enhance a LLM in a way that helps home schoolers learn faster.
And just when we thought she’d pause, she picked up new hackathon projects, Data Analytics, followed by AR/VR, and kept pushing her comfort zone. What we love? She’s incredibly flexible when it comes to picking up new tools, technologies, and challenges. You can throw her into any project — and she’ll figure it out. More Than an Engineer: A Mentor in the Making As she got better at engineering, something beautiful happened — She started teaching others. Payal became a support mentor at 10xTechClub, guiding our students with projects in Python, AI, and data science platforms. She’s known for: - Being the bug-fixer when no one else can figure it out.
- Turning “boring theory” into fun, hands-on learning.
- Helping student teams during hackathons with patience, ideas, and calm confidence.
She’s also an great researcher — often pulling in fresh insights or new tools to make student projects stronger. But like all of us, her growth journey continues. We’ve seen that her next-level breakthroughs will come from: - Sharpening her communication skills – to connect better with younger minds.
- Deepening her understanding of student psychology – so her teaching style can match how students actually learn.
- And evolving as a trainer, not just an engineer.
The best part? She’s aware of this. And she’s already working on it. Off the Clock: A Thinker, A Sci-Fi Fan, A Builder of Better Worlds When Payal isn’t coding or mentoring, she’s often immersed in sci-fi films, reading up on tech ethics, or exploring future trends. She often asks questions like: “What kind of world are we building with tech?” “Who is it really helping?” That mindset — of thinking beyond code and into impact — is what we value deeply at 10xTechClub. Looking Ahead Payal’s not done. Not even close. Her foundation in AI, Cloud, Data Science and EdTech is solid. Her willingness to learn and unlearn? Even stronger. As she continues growing into a better communicator, mentor, and tech educator, we know one thing for sure: She’s going to create ripples. In the lives of our students, in the field of tech education, and in the future she’s helping shape. We’re lucky to have her in the 10xTechClub family. Stay curious. Stay inspired. Team 10xTC |

The Big Question: Is Coding Still Worth Learning? “Why should kids learn to code when tools like ChatGPT can write entire programs now?” This is a question I hear a lot—from parents, students, even professionals. It’s a fair one. With AI tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Amazon CodeWhisperer writing code, debugging, and even suggesting designs, it feels like we’ve stepped into the future. But does this mean coding is dead? Not even close. The truth is, we’re not witnessing the end of coding. We’re witnessing a transformation. And coding, as a skill, has never been more important—but what we focus on while teaching it needs to evolve. Let’s dive in.

Book Review: Hold On to Your Kids by Gordon Neufeld & Gabor Maté In Hold On to Your Kids, psychologists Gordon Neufeld and Gabor Maté explore the growing disconnect between parents and children in modern society. They argue that peer influence has overtaken parental guidance, leading to behavioural issues, emotional struggles, and a weakened sense of family connection. The book emphasizes the importance of re-establishing strong parent-child relationships to foster emotional security, resilience, and proper development. Key Insights from the Book: ▪ The Rise of Peer Orientation – Children today are more influenced by their peers than by their parents, which can disrupt emotional growth and decision-making. ▪The Importance of Attachment – Secure attachment to parents fosters confidence, emotional stability, and healthy social interactions. ▪The Role of Parents as Leaders – Parents must reclaim their role as primary caregivers and mentors by fostering deep, trusting relationships with their children. ▪Impact of Modern Society – Factors like digital distractions, social pressures, and changing family dynamics contribute to the weakening of parental influence. ▪Practical Solutions – The book provides actionable steps for parents to reconnect with their children, including spending quality time together, setting firm but compassionate boundaries, and modeling healthy behaviors. Why This Book Matters: Neufeld and Maté present a compelling case for strengthening family bonds in a fast-paced, peer-driven world. Their research-backed insights encourage parents to prioritize connection over control, ensuring children grow up with strong emotional foundations. This book is a must-read for parents, educators, and caregivers seeking to raise confident, well-adjusted individuals. For parents navigating today’s complex world, Hold On to Your Kids serves as a powerful reminder that a strong parent-child bond is the key to raising resilient, independent, and emotionally secure children. |
